As the first day in Colorado came to a close we found ourselves at the Mt. Sneffels view from earlier in the day for sunset. This is a time of day that I’ve never photographed this location from. The shadows and sharp contrasts made for some interesting shots.
From slightly earlier in the evening when there was still a little light on the foreground. The shot below is at 4:07pm and the shot 2 above is at 4:45pm.
Fading light! Just the sun-kissed peak lit up.
For this shot I moved over to the left about 50 yards to get a different perspective. This angle opens up the mountain ridge to the right of Mt. Sneffels.
