They say it takes 10000 hours to master something. My Mom is a master quilter. One of the best I’ve seen. She has won multiple awards at quilt shows all over the state of Utah including best in show at the Utah State Fair.
Here is her latest quilt to earn an award of excellence at a quilt show in Springville, Utah.
These quilts are not even half of the quilts she has done in her lifetime. I took a lot of photos a few years ago and I thought I had posted them on my website. But unfortunately I didn’t. I need to go through my old photographs and find those photos and share them.
Another one of my favorites. These quilts are huge, most larger than a king size. I thought I would just rotate the quilts in post, but I had to stand on a ladder to photograph them and rotating them ruined the perspective. Sorry about that, Mom. I’m glad to have photographed these priceless quilts.
