I had the privilege of photographing my sister in law, Lisa and her fiancé, Eric this past week end at the Mount Pisgah arboretum near Eugene, OR. It is a gorgeous location. I am always happily surprised to see areas like this so close to a major city.
I always personally prefer the more candid spontaneous portrait shots that happen in-between the set poses. For these portraits I used my favorite lens the Nikon 70-200mm 2.8E. It has a wide enough aperture which combined with the longer focal length gives great subject separation from the background and nice bokeh.
There wasn’t a great location to get river in the background of the shot without them being in the river. They were such good sports to take off their shoes and walk in the cold water for these shots.
Here are the rest of the images from the day! Enjoy!
