On August 4th I was out visiting with my sister Jolene and her family. As I went to leave we noticed it was lightening over on the mountain by her house. We decided to hurry and set up and take some photographs.
Unfortunately, the storm was moving away from her house and out over the Great Salt Lake. So by the time we got set up the lightning was much more distant.
It was still enjoyable to capture some lightning shots and to teach my sister how to capture them as well.
