Taunya loves honey and bumble bees. It was a sunny afternoon and we have lots of dandelions in our yard which we purposely don’t kill or mow for the bees. I noticed quite a few honey bees flying around so I thought I would take the opportunity to use my Nikon 500mm f/4 lens and my Nikon 70-200mm lens to get some macro shots of the bees.
It’s a little difficult to get shots like this with the 500mm because your near focal distance is about 4 meters or 20 feet.
There was also a butterfly that flew into the yard which I took a bunch of photographs as well.
