Arches National Park 2013

ISO 400, 300mm, f/6.3, 1/1600sec

Ah yes the classic photograph from Arches National Park, Delicate Arch!  Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time or daylight to do the hike up to the arch itself.  Fortunately I had my 300mm lens with me and was able to get a great shot of just the arch.

Taunya and I got to the park with only at the most 2 hours until sunset.  The bad thing about this was there wasn’t enough time to see very much of the park.  The good thing was the lighting was amazing with the red sun and the red rock!

Lots and lots of layers of detail in this shot!

This is definitely one place I am going to come back to this coming year to photograph.
